SCC, Europe's leading independent shopping centre operator, has announced the appointment of Alexandre Morisseau as Director of the Evry 2 shopping centre, effective 16 March 2020.

Alexandre began his career in 1997 as Technical and Safety Manager for a property company specialising in shopping centre management. In 2007, he was appointed Shopping Centre Manager in charge of property administration and rental management for several of the company's shopping centres..
He was also responsible for developing the image and attractiveness of the centres and for relations with the various local stakeholders (administrations, elected representatives, chambers of commerce, retailers, etc.).

During his term of office, Alexandre led the project to extend and renovate the Cap Saran shopping centre (Orléans) and the management of the centres in Chartres, Châteauroux and Bourges. He also led the development and extension project of the Grand Vitrolles shopping centre (Marseille), the management of the Orange “le Coudoulet” and Valence “Victor Hugo” centres, and the renovation and extension project of the Beaulieu shopping centre (Nantes).

As Director of the Evry 2 shopping centre, Alexandre's mission will be to continue the transformation process in order to transform Evry 2 into an essential “Le Spot” hyper-place in the Greater Paris South region.

“It is a real challenge to accompany Evry 2 in its transformation, this new concept of shopping centre which integrates cultural, food and leisure activities, to offer a real place of sharing, exchanges and experiences. SCC has always been a pioneer in its field and a forerunner in the vision of future shopping centres,” adds Alexandre Morisseau.

Evry2, the group's first major repositioning site, will be the first shopping centre transformed into Next Destinations. Next Destinations is about offering a new generation of places where the shopping centre becomes a hyper-place for exchanges, encounters and experiences, a real centre of attraction in the heart of the city. It will respond to the powerful transformation of the Greater Paris South region and to new consumer expectations.

Completely new in the Paris Region, SPOT will bring together 126,000m² of leisure and cultural destinations, a redesigned retail offering and a brand new food concept designed with Chef Grégory Cohen. A genuine meeting point and place for sharing, SPOT will offer events throughout the year, with a programme designed for a family clientele. With the ambition of becoming the future capital destination of the Greater Paris South, the SPOT is based on a “public-private” partnership.

A long-established and emblematic shopping centre in the Ile de France region, Evry 2 offers exclusive shopping and entertainment in the heart of the Evry-Courcouronnes centre. The shopping centre welcomes more than 15 million visitors each year, thanks to its 200 top-quality shops and retailers, including the largest Zara in France, which extends right across 4,000 m, Fnac, H&M, Primark, Decathlon, Kiabi, etc., as well as its many restaurants. Evry 2 also has a Carrefour hypermarket, a CGR cinema with 10 screens and a capacity of 2,000 seats, an ice rink, a swimming pool, a national theatre, a media library and one of the largest theatres in the Ile de France with 3,500 seats.
